Innvest.com is experiencing a corporate restructuring, at this time. As a result, All Property Summary Display Ads are Free and no customer service is available, until further notice. This “HELP” section has been created to assist you, in using the site. We apologize for any inconvenience.




How do I become a member of Innvest? How much does it cost?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com select Innvest services link under the picture, to the right.
  • b. Select “Become a Member Click Here”.
  • c. Complete all information in the form.
  • d. Click “Sign up for Membership” button, you signed up for free Innvest membership and for our free Hotels for Sale email Newsletter which comes out around the 25th of every month to over 3000 active hotel buyers.
  • e. You are now ready to post your property ads.

How do I edit my member/broker information (contact information, address…)?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com.
  • b. Select “Membership Services” link under the picture, to the right.
  • c. Enter your user name and password.
  • d. Click “log in”.
  • e. Click on the “Edit Member Info”.
  • f. Click “Update” button.

Why is my Property Ad (PSDA) not up?

  • a. You may not have selected the “Submit” button when placing the ad.
  • b. It also may have expired. Then add the same property again (follow the directions of the section How do I add a property?).

How do I post a picture on my PSDA ad?

  • You will not be able to post pictures. At this time No Pictures will be posted.

How do I edit my PSDA ad?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services” link under the picture, to the right.
  • c. Enter your user name and password.
  • d. Click “log in”.
  • e. Click “Edit Property” link.
  • f. Locate the property you want to edit and click on it.

    **Note that the list contains current AND expired properties and offline ads – don’t worry! Any property that is expired or offline is not visible to anyone but you and Innvest staff**

  • g. Change and update any information you want to.
  • h. Be sure to click “Update” button otherwise your changes will be lost.

How do I add a property?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services” link under the picture, to the right.
  • c. Enter your user name and password.
  • d. Click “log in”.
  • e. Click on the “Add Property” link.
  • f. Complete all information in the form. Remember, enter the price as numbers only, no commas, decimal places or dollar signs.

    **If you DON’T want the name of the property displayed on the Internet , DON’T click the checkbox that says “Display Name on the Internet”**

  • g. When all information is complete, click the “NEXT>>” button.
  • h. Complete the desired information in the extended form. Be as specific and accurate as possible so that buyers know if you have what they are looking for. Innvest recommends using rolling twelve-month financials. When you are satisfied with the information, click “Preview this Ad”.
  • i. If you are satisfied with the information you entered, click on the “Click Here to submit Ad” button.

How do I put more than one agent’s name on my PSDA ad?

  • a. PSDA ads can display up to two representatives per ad.
  • b. If company wants to create a new representative.
    • 1. Go to www.innvest.com
    • 2. Select “Membership Services”.
    • 3. Enter user name and password.
    • 4. Select “Edit all Broker Information” from Menu select “Add a New Representative” and complete the form.
    • 5. Click “Create Record” button.
    • 6. PSDA ads have a field “Rep.#1” and “Rep.#2” customer can select the Reps to appear on ad.

Agent’s info is not displayed on the PSDA ad or info is not correct.
Determine if agent has a representative record:

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services”.
  • c. Enter user name and password.
  • d. Select “Edit all Broker Information” from Menu and
  • e. click the agent’s name to check info or click “Edit” below representatives email address if you want to make changes.
  • f. Click the “Update Record” button.
  • g. Sometimes members have no representative records. Then agent’s info will not be displayed.

Client Forgets User / login Name and / or Password?

  • a. Clients keep User / login Name and Password in a safe, secure place for future reference.
  • b. Sign up as a new member again and keep your user name and password in a safe place.

    What effect will this have on my ads?
    You will need to add the same properties under your new user name and password.

When Does an Ad expire?

        6 months after placement date.

How Do I get my PSDA Ads included in the “Hotel for Sale” newsletter?
There are two sections in the Newsletter: “New Property Section” and “Edited Section”.

  • a. New properties entered are automatically included in the next newsletter.
  • b. Ads that are edited are automatically included in the edited section of the newsletter.

How does a Broker update his/her contact information and address?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Member Services”.
  • c. Select “Edit all Broker Information” from the Menu.
  • d. Make the changes.
  • e. Click the “Update” button.

Placing a PSDA Ad and Client does not want to pay by credit card?

        Select “Pay By Check” on the Method of Payment field on the PSDA.

How do I link my resume to my Property Summary Display Ad?

  • a. Enter the URL address of resume in the representative member record.
  • b. URL must start with http://www

How do I Edit my List & Link Product Provider Ad

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services”.
  • c. Select “edit your Products Provider Directory Ad” from the Menu.
  • d. Edit the info.
  • e. Click the “Update” button.

I cannot read/open the links to your “Hotels For Sale” Newsletter

  • a. Are you connected to the internet? Confirm by going to a web site.
  • b. Web browser needs to be open (Internet Explorer, Netscape etc).
  • c. I can not see the graphics. Update your browser to the latest version.

I am not getting my ”Hotels for Sale” Newsletter:

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services” link under the picture, to the right.
  • c. Enter your user name and password.
  • d. Click “log in”.
  • e. Click the “Edit Member Info” or edit “All Broker Information”.
  • f. Look up the e-mail address.
  • g. Correct the e-mail address. Don’t forget to click “Update” button if you made any changes or entered new information.

How do I remove myself from the mailing list if I don’t want to get the newsletter?

  • a. Go to www.innvest.com
  • b. Select “Membership Services” link under the picture, to the right.
  • c. Enter your user name and password.
  • d. Click “log in”.
  • e. Click “Invest Mailing List”.
  • f. Click “Unsubscribe from the Mailing List”.

Get Your Properties into the Monthly Innvest E-Mail Update about “Hotels for Sale”!

  • a. Innvest e-mail updates go out the third Friday of every month to over 3,000 active hotel buyers.
  • b. Any change you make to your Property Summary Display ad will trigger inclusion into the Property Update e-mail to over 3,000 buyers.
  • c. It is most useful to update your listings with the most recent rolling 12 month figures.
  • d. Your Company name is in front of hotel buyers every month on every ad you place.

Create Exposure for Your Sales Reps!

  • a. In the Innvest Member Services Menu: be sure each of your sales reps have a member record.
  • b. The member record for each sales rep should include: a direct phone & fax number (if applicable), their personal e-mail address and postal mailing address (this is especially useful if they operate out of a branch office).
  • c. Assign one or more sales reps to each Property Summary Display Ad. Select this option when entering your property information. (Note: first be sure a representative record has been created for each sales person).
  • d. By assigning a rep to the ad, the rep’s name on the ad will link to their resume.
  • e. When creating a sales rep’s member record be sure the website address begins with http://www

Drive Traffic to Your Web Site with Property Summary Display Ads!

  • a. Each of your Innvest Property Summary Display Ad links to your web site via your company name.
  • b. Be sure your member record has your web site address beginning with http://www (this gives us the proper linking instruction from Innvest to your web site).
